c:

UNIX servers can host everything except ASP-VB, which is pretty crummy anyway. ASP-JS and ASP-Perl work on UNIX tho, as do pretty much anything else.

UNIX is more fun than Windows NT server, and you will (hopefully) get a nice shell log on, with all the standard UNIX commands (like what you use in the OSX terminal).

UNIX will easily host html, javascript, flash, shockwave (i thought that shockwave and flash were the same thing...) and atmosphere files, unless the system admin has added some silly rules to the system (like at geocities), but they can do this (i think) on NT as well, and should tell you first anyway.

Linux, BSD, Solaris, OSX, and Irix Servers are all *nix, which means that unless you are doing really nasty ubercomplicated stuff, they are the same. *Note to techies reading this* Yes, I do know there are differences, but why make things complicated (such as writing serverside scripts in BF or Intercal)?
